Description

You will build and maintain data pipelines across the full SDLC within an AWS environment.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the full project life cycle, including requirement gathering, system design, implementation, and testing.
• Execute data manipulations, extractions, and loads from multiple sources into target schemas.
• Perform reverse engineering of existing code and conduct impact analysis on documentation.
• Document code and support release management processes.
• Estimate work effort and maintain accountability for delivery dates.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of ETL development and migration experience.
• 2+ years of development experience in Amazon Cloud environments.
• Direct experience with data migration projects into Redshift using AWS Glue.
• Proficiency with AWS services including S3, EMR, AWS Glue, Databricks, Amazon Redshift, and Data Lake.
• Strong SQL skills and ability to design schemas to meet specific requirements.
• Experience outputting results in various formats such as JSON, data feeds, and reports.
• Proficiency in developing, deploying, and debugging cloud-based data assets.

Preferred Skills

• Understanding of core AWS services and basic AWS architecture best practices.
• Ability to work within onsite and offshore engagement models.
