Description

Lead data engineering initiatives and guide a team in designing and optimizing data warehouse solutions for the pharmaceutical domain.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead solution charters, including first-cut architecture designs for small to large programs.
• Design data warehouses with a deep understanding of dimension and fact models, ensuring efficient architecture and optimization.
• Leverage Snowflake Cortex AI for data processing and optimization within the Snowflake DWH ecosystem.
• Translate complex information into compelling narratives for business and technical stakeholders through clear presentations and documentation.
• Manage technical execution in ambiguous situations, anticipating risks and resolving unstructured problems.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in data warehouse design and ETL development.
• Strong expertise in Informatica PowerCenter and Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS/IDMC).
• Proficiency in Snowflake architecture, optimization, and Snowflake Cortex AI.
• Solid SQL skills for data manipulation and query optimization.
• Experience with Pharma domain data sets (IQVIA, Komodo, VEEVA) is highly preferred.
• Proven ability to lead teams and guide them through difficult technical situations.
• Excellent business communication and articulation skills for presenting to diverse audiences.

Preferred Skills

• Direct experience with Life Science datasets from IQVIA, Komodo, or VEEVA tool sets.
• Strong project management and organizational skills for handling complex information.
