Description

We are looking for an experienced ETL Test Engineer with Azure expertise to validate large-scale data integration and transformation workflows. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in ETL testing, data warehouse testing, SQL validation, and Azure data services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform ETL testing for data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
• Validate data movement between source systems, staging layers, and target databases/data warehouses.
• Develop and execute test cases, test plans, and test scripts for ETL workflows.
• Perform data reconciliation, data quality checks, and validation testing.
• Write complex SQL queries for data verification and defect analysis.
• Test Azure Data Factory (ADF) pipelines and Azure-based ETL processes.
• Collaborate with developers, data engineers, and business analysts to understand data requirements.
• Track defects using tools such as JIRA/Azure DevOps and ensure timely closure.
• Support regression, integration, and end-to-end testing activities.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in ETL/Data Warehouse Testing.
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF).
• Good knowledge of Azure SQL Database / Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Expertise in SQL and data validation techniques.
• Experience in ETL tools/testing methodologies.
• Understanding of data warehouse concepts, dimensional modeling, and data marts.
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
