Description

You will lead testing efforts for ETL and BI processes within a Scrum development team.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead other testers and collaborate with development and technical teams to troubleshoot issues.
• Partner with product management and application developers to ensure infrastructure changes meet business requirements.
• Create and adjust test design strategies, test plans, and test data to accommodate changing user requirements.
• Verify software functionality using various testing methodologies to identify decision points.
• Manage defects through Jira to ensure software quality.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in ETL and BI testing.
• 5–6 years of experience in the QA project life cycle, including test plans, strategies, scenarios, and traceability matrices.
• 3–5+ years of experience in Database, Data Warehouse, and ETL testing.
• Advanced SQL skills including complex joins, correlated subqueries, aggregate functions, and inline views.
• 3+ years of experience with Data Lake/Hadoop platform implementation and performance tuning for Hadoop/Spark.
• Experience with MS SQL Server, SSIS, and SSRS.
• Proficiency in programming languages and test automation tools.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC and STLC models.
• Proven ability in test estimation techniques and problem-solving.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field.
