Description

You will act as a technical expert driving ETL design, development, and data warehousing architecture.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop complex Informatica mappings, including XML transformations, CDC, SCD, and Fact loads.
• Translate mapping documents into technical specifications, module specs, and unit test cases.
• Perform performance tuning across ETL processes, databases, and SQL queries.
• Develop Unix/Linux shell scripts to automate ETL job execution and failure trapping.
• Gather user requirements and document technical specifications throughout the SDLC.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in ETL development and data warehousing architecture.
• Expertise in Informatica transformations: Source qualifier, joiners, union, aggregator, sorter, expressions, transaction control, and lookups.
• Strong proficiency in RDBMS and SQL query optimization.
• Hands-on experience with XML transformations and design.
• Ability to write and maintain Unix/Linux shell scripts.
• Deep understanding of Data Warehousing concepts, terminology, and architecture.
• Proven ability to handle complex mapping logic and CDC/SCD implementations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate directly with clients and work within virtual teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in client-facing roles.
