Description

You will develop and maintain ETL processes to move data between Snowflake data layers.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, develop, refactor, and deploy functionality and bug fixes within ETL pipelines.
• Perform database and query tuning to resolve performance issues using ELT and push-down logic.
• Improve ETL frameworks, data quality frameworks, and pipeline automation.
• Maintain service data availability SLOs and participate in triage meetings with Security and Infrastructure teams.
• Follow Agile Jira SDLC controls, ServiceNow Change/Incident management, and GitLab CI/CD pipelines.

Required Skills

• 2+ years of experience developing, deploying, and supporting fault-tolerant data pipelines.
• Proficiency with Snowflake and DBT.
• Strong SQL development skills and experience with NoSQL databases.
• Experience with ETL tools including Informatica or DataStage.
• Hands-on experience with cloud-based data offerings such as Amazon AWS, Redshift, Google GCP, or Microsoft Azure.
• 1+ years of experience using Linux scripting with Python or Shell.
• Ability to participate in daily standups, lead design reviews, and coordinate with offshore teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the P&C Insurance domain.
