Description

You will design, develop, and maintain ETL processes while migrating legacy code to cloud environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Migrate Informatica PowerCenter v10.2 ETL code, including embedded SQL and PL/SQL, to Informatica Cloud (IDMC).
• Optimize and performance-tune SQL queries and PL/SQL stored procedures for scalability.
• Conduct root cause analysis to resolve ETL issues and manage recovery processes.
• Build data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data into star and snowflake schema data warehouses.
• Manage database administration tasks including configuration, backup/recovery, user roles, and Golden Gate synchronization.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in BI/ETL development.
• 10+ years of experience developing and tuning SQL, T-SQL, and PL/SQL.
• 10+ years of experience using Oracle tools such as EXPLAIN PLAN, TKPROF, OEM, and RMAN.
• 5+ years of experience with Oracle 11g and 19c relational databases.
• 3+ years of hands-on Informatica PowerCenter v10.2 administration.
• 2+ years of Informatica Cloud (IDMC) experience, including PowerCenter migrations and secure agent configuration.
• Proficiency in data modeling (OLTP, OLAP, and dimensional modeling).
• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, system integration, and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Strong understanding of Agile, SDLC, and DevOps practices.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Azure DevOps and version control systems.
• Background in public sector projects involving environmental or inter-jurisdictional data systems.
