Responsibilities

• Develop batch ETL/ELT processes using SQL Server and SSIS to move and transform data across ODS, staging, data warehouses, and data marts.
• Implement data warehouse solutions using Star and Snowflake schemas for analytical applications.
• Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries and stored procedures for large-scale data processing.
• Design and implement audit, balance, and control mechanisms within data solutions.
• Mentor team members on ETL design patterns and SQL development best practices.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience developing ETL/ELT processes with SQL Server and SSIS.
• 7+ years of experience implementing Star Schema and Snowflake schema data warehouse solutions.
• 7+ years of experience writing and optimizing SQL queries and stored procedures.
• 5+ years of experience with large-scale data processing and T-SQL query optimization.
• 5+ years of experience in data modeling using tools such as Erwin, Visio, or ER Studio.
• 5+ years of experience implementing audit, balance, and control mechanisms.
• 3+ years of experience with source control including GIT, TFVC, or Azure DevOps, including branching, merging, and CI/CD for database workloads.
• 2+ years of experience using Python Pandas libraries to process semi-structured data for SQL Server loading.
• Strong understanding of 3NF, dimensional data models, and ETL design patterns.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working within the Banking and Financial domain.
