Description

Lead data integration efforts and technical design for data warehousing workflows within Google Cloud Platform.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Architect data flows, services, and read/write connections for diverse data sources.
• Lead technical design, estimation, and code review sessions for team deliverables.
• Collaborate with platform and third-party leads to translate integration needs into technical user stories.
• Mentor team members through development, unit testing, and troubleshooting critical issues.
• Support business users during UAT and assist QA teams with defect fixing.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in ETL and data warehousing.
• Expertise in Python programming, including building custom read/write connectors.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GBQ, GCS, BigQuery).
• Proficiency in Ascend for data flow creation, scheduling, and webhook notification settings.
• Experience with Airflow, including DAG creation, variable configuration, and scheduling.
• Technical knowledge of DBT to create lineage within GCP.
• Experience with GCP Kubernetes, including POD operators and image creation.
• Knowledge of Composer and managing data integration workflows.
• Degree in MTech, MS, BE, BTech, or MCA.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in a DevSecOps (CI/CD) environment.
• Experience with containerized code execution and containerization.
• Domain expertise in Retail or Manufacturing.
