Description

You will lead testing efforts for data integration, ingestion, and complex transformation processes.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design test strategies to validate data sourcing, staging, and logic based on design documents.
• Analyze and prepare test cases and data for ETL testing workflows.
• Validate ETL mapping and job flow completion by comparing reference data sets against results.
• Lead, guide, and groom the testing team while managing defect processes and risk mitigation.
• Communicate directly with clients to report progress and technical findings.

Required Skills

• 5–10 years of experience in the Software Quality Assurance project life cycle, including test plans, strategies, and traceability matrices.
• 3–5+ years of experience in Database, Data Warehouse, or ETL testing.
• 3–5+ years of advanced SQL scripting expertise.
• 3+ years of experience with Data Lake and Hadoop platform implementation.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in Hadoop and Spark implementation and performance tuning.
• Experience with MS SQL Server, SSIS, and SSRS.
• Experience understanding ETL mappings in Informatica or Talend.
• Ability to compare data sets across flat files, database tables, and big data storage.
• Knowledge of Agile QA lifecycles, including sprints, standups, and burndowns.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field.
