Description

You will own the test strategy and execution for ETL, data warehousing, and analytics reporting pipelines.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain test strategies, plans, and cases for data warehousing and ETL processes.
• Verify data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across source systems and target data warehouses.
• Implement automation frameworks for ETL job testing and data validation using SQL and scripting.
• Guide a team of analysts and testers, prioritizing efforts to ensure project milestones are met.
• Identify, document, and track defects to closure, conducting root cause analysis for data discrepancies.

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in SQL, including queries, procedures, and views.
• Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica or Talend.
• Proven experience in data integration testing, regression testing, and data quality testing.
• Ability to analyze large datasets to identify patterns or inconsistencies.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data testing or QA.
• Previous experience leading teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with BI tools like Tableau or Power BI.
