Lead ETL testing initiatives across multiple projects, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and performance.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute test strategies, plans, and cases for ETL workflows to validate data mappings and business requirements.
• Drive automation in ETL testing using PySpark and other frameworks to improve efficiency and coverage.
• Perform root cause analysis of defects, collaborating with developers and data engineers to ensure timely resolution.
• Mentor junior testers and enforce organizational standards and best practices for data quality.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in ETL testing, including 2–3 years in a lead role.
• Strong hands-on expertise with Azure Data Services, specifically Azure Data Factory (ADF), Databricks, and Synapse.
• Proficiency in PySpark for data validation and test automation.
• Solid understanding of SQL, data warehousing concepts, and big data ecosystems.
• Experience with ETL tools and frameworks for designing robust test cases.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with effective communication abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies and CI/CD pipelines for data testing.
• Knowledge of other cloud platforms such as AWS and GCP.
