Description

You will validate data pipelines, BI reports, and ETL processes across on-premises and cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans, cases, and scripts to validate schemas, tables, stored procedures, and ETL jobs.
• Perform data quality checks focusing on completeness, accuracy, consistency, and timeliness.
• Identify, document, and track data defects while collaborating with data engineers to resolve issues.
• Build automated test scripts using Python and SQL to validate data lake and data warehouse feeds.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to monitor data quality in real-time.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of proficiency in complex SQL and Python.
• Extensive experience in ETL testing and Data Quality Assurance.
• Hands-on experience with manual and automated testing and test data generation.
• Experience testing Data Warehouse models, including Star Schemas, tables, views, and cubes.
• Direct experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure DevOps, Azure Blob Storage, and Cloud Power.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitLab.
• Knowledge of ETL processes and cloud-native testing frameworks.
• Experience validating inbound/outbound feeds and integrations.

Preferred Skills

• Experience maintaining scalable automation frameworks for changing data requirements.
