Description

Own end-to-end ETL testing, ensuring data integrity from source systems to target data warehouses.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data mapping documents and business requirements to design comprehensive test plans and cases.
• Perform source-to-target data reconciliation and validate that transformation rules are applied correctly.
• Write complex SQL scripts for validation, including count, completeness, consistency, and truncation checks.
• Identify, log, and track data defects using JIRA, HP ALM, or Octane.
• Automate test scripts and validate data volume, performance, and scalability.

Required Skills

• Expert-level SQL for data analysis and PL/SQL.
• Experience with Informatica PowerCenter and IDMC.
• Knowledge of data warehouse concepts, including star and snowflake schemas.
• Proficiency in Oracle and PL/SQL.
• Familiarity with Hive, HDFS file structures, and HiveQL.
• Understanding of Metadata dependent ETL processes and batch/job frameworks.
• 10+ years of experience in ETL testing.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.
• Domain knowledge in Banking or Payments.
• Shell scripting experience.
