Description

You will validate data integrity and transformation logic across ETL pipelines in a banking environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data mapping documents and business requirements to design comprehensive test plans and cases.
• Perform source-to-target data reconciliation and ensure transformation rules are applied correctly.
• Write complex SQL scripts for validation, including count, completeness, consistency, and truncation checks.
• Identify, log, and track data defects using JIRA, HP ALM, or Octane.
• Automate test scripts to validate data volume, performance, and scalability.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in ETL testing.
• Expert-level knowledge of SQL for data analysis.
• Experience with Informatica PowerCenter and IDMC.
• Proficiency in Shell Scripting and Autosys.
• Understanding of data warehouse concepts, including star and snowflake schemas.
• Experience with Oracle and PL/SQL.
• Familiarity with Hadoop, Spark, HiveQL, and HDFS.
• Knowledge of Metadata dependent ETL processes and batch/job frameworks.

Preferred Skills

• Banking and Payments domain knowledge.
• Experience with Kafka.
