Description

You will own the end-to-end testing lifecycle for our Data Warehouse product, from requirement analysis and test planning to execution and defect management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, scenarios, and traceability matrices for ETL/ELT processes.
• Validate data transformations, migrations, profiling, and quality across sources like Oracle and SQL Server.
• Design and implement end-to-end data testing strategies and automation frameworks.
• Troubleshoot data and reports while managing the full defect life cycle within Jira or HP ALM.
• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to remediate data issues and mentor team members.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of software product development and delivery experience.
• 5+ years of ETL testing and SQL experience, including writing complex queries and stored procedures.
• 3+ years of experience with Informatica Power Center, IDQ, and IICS/IDMC.
• 3+ years of experience developing data test plans, executing test cases, and documenting results.
• 2+ years of experience with Azure Cloud tools including ADF, PySpark, and Databricks notebooks.
• 2+ years of experience with Python and libraries such as Pandas, Numpy, and Matplotlib.
• Proficiency in testing ETL mappings involving Expressions, Lookups, Aggregators, and Joiners.
• Experience with database systems such as Oracle, SQL Server, or DB2.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodology and defect management.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to interpret and draw system and architecture diagrams.
• Experience summarizing large datasets into meaningful graphs and reports.
