Description

Own end-to-end data quality validation across source systems, Databricks transformation layers, and Power BI reports for enterprise-scale migrations.

Design and execute SQL-based data reconciliation to validate complex business logic and transformation rules.

Validate Power BI dashboards, including DAX calculations, slicers, hierarchies, filters, and drill-through behavior.

Develop and maintain Python-based automation frameworks for recurring data quality and regression checks.

Conduct data profiling, anomaly detection, and root cause analysis for data discrepancies, leading UAT sign-off processes.

Required Skills

• 5–8 years of experience in Data QA, Testing, or Data Validation roles.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, including complex joins, aggregations, and reconciliation queries.
• Hands-on experience validating Power BI reports and semantic models.
• Working knowledge of DAX for testing calculations and measures.
• Experience building or maintaining Python-based data validation frameworks.
• Solid understanding of Data Warehousing concepts, ELT workflows, and Lakehouse architectures.
• Experience with Databricks or Spark-based platforms.
• Mandatory experience in the Retail domain.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to the Azure ecosystem (Databricks, Synapse).
