Description

You will own the quality assurance process for ETL processes and Power BI reporting.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute test plans and test cases to validate Power BI report functionality, data accuracy, and performance.
• Ensure Power BI reports meet business requirements, providing actionable insights.
• Collaborate with the development team to identify and resolve defects in reports and data visualizations.
• Develop and execute tests to confirm data consistency and accuracy across integrated systems.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Quality Engineering or Data Testing focused on Power BI.
• Proven ability to develop and execute test plans for data validation.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright for end-to-end automation testing.
• Experience querying large datasets using SQL against sources like Snowflake.
• Understanding of testing Power BI features (drill-throughs, interactivity, visuals).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, specifically Scrum and Kanban.
• Strong analytical and detail-oriented problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with ICE Data Quality (DQ) tools and creating ICEDQ SQL artifacts.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
