Description

Validate data integrity and ETL workflows within an Agile environment using Python automation.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain functional automation test scripts using modular frameworks.
• Execute smoke, white box, black box, integration, end-to-end, regression, and system testing.
• Use SQL for back-end database validation and data set up.
• Evaluate requirements and design documents from a quality automation standpoint.
• Document defects and prioritize them based on application functionality.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on testing experience in Azure Data Factory and Databricks using Python.
• 5+ years of testing experience on Data and ETL workflows using Informatica IDQ or DVO.
• 3+ years of ETL test experience, including SQL and job execution.
• Proficiency in Python scripting for automation.
• Strong understanding of relational and non-relational databases.
• Experience with defect tracking and root cause analysis using Jira or Rally.
• Experience with CI tools such as Jenkins, TeamCity, or GitLab.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of ETL and Data frameworks, processes, and strategies.
• Experience with QA processes in an Agile/Scrum environment.
