Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute test cases for ETL jobs, including data load validation, transformation verification, and end-to-end pipeline checks.
• Validate data in the data warehouse using SQL queries, ensuring row counts, field-level accuracy, and reconciliation between source and target.
• Test Azure-based data workflows and troubleshoot failures by analyzing logs, job runs, and SQL results.
• Support data cleanup and remediation activities by identifying bad records, duplicates, and inconsistent values.
• Collaborate with data engineering teams to improve test coverage, reliability, and repeatability of ETL releases.

Skills Required:

• 6 - 8 years of relevant experience in ETL/data testing and SQL validation
• Azure for testing and validation of data pipeline executions.
• ETL testing experience across data ingestion, transformation, and load processes.
• Data warehouse validation using SQL-based reconciliation and verification.
• SQL Server proficiency for querying, verification, and troubleshooting of warehouse data.

Good to Have:

• Data quality testing and validation practices.
• Data cleanup experience for handling inconsistent or incorrect records.
