Description

Design, build, and maintain data integration and business intelligence solutions using the Pentaho BI Platform.

You will own the end-to-end development of DI/BI front-end applications, including analysis, design, testing, and coding. You will administer and configure multiple Pentaho environments to ensure stability and performance. Your work includes building data integration workflows using Pentaho Kettle, Metadata Editor, and Schema Workbench. You will create reports and dashboards using Pentaho Report Designer. You will write and optimize complex SQL queries, triggers, views, and stored procedures.

Responsibilities

• Develop DI/BI front-end applications from analysis through coding.
• Administer and configure Pentaho environments for stability.
• Build data integration workflows using Kettle and Schema Workbench.
• Create reports and dashboards with Pentaho Report Designer.
• Optimize complex SQL queries, triggers, and stored procedures.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of IT experience in Business Intelligence and Data Integration.
• Deep expertise in the Pentaho BI Platform suite, including Kettle and Report Designer.
• Advanced Oracle SQL and PL/SQL programming skills.
• Experience writing complex queries involving joins, triggers, and stored procedures.
• Proficiency in UNIX shell scripting.
• Hands-on experience with Windows batch scripting.
• Knowledge of performance tuning approaches and techniques.

Preferred Skills

• Degree in any graduate field.
