Description

Lead the QA lifecycle for Big Data and ETL implementations, managing onsite and offshore delivery teams.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Own the entire QA lifecycle, including test strategies, plans, and requirements traceability matrices.
• Develop and execute complex SQL scripts to perform system testing on incremental data using CDC and SCD concepts.
• Lead defect triaging, review mapping documents, and coordinate directly with client stakeholders and vendor project teams.
• Identify test scenarios, develop test scripts, and review the work produced by junior team members.
• Validate data integrity from source files to target databases, ensuring adherence to established testing methodologies.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in ETL and Data Warehouse testing.
• Strong proficiency in SQL with the ability to write complex queries for data validation.
• Hands-on experience with the Hadoop ecosystem, including Hive, Spark, and Sqoop.
• Practical knowledge of ETL tools such as Informatica.
• Experience with databases including Teradata, SQL Server, and Oracle.
• Competency in Unix and file validation processes.
• Deep understanding of Data Warehousing, ETL testing, and the testing process.
• Ability to manage onsite-offshore coordination and provide daily status reporting.

Preferred Skills

• Agile project experience.
• Cloud Azure Synapse experience.
• Automation of ETL testing.
