Description

You will lead validation of enterprise data and application migration from Oracle and Netezza to Snowflake, overseeing ETL mapping transformations from IBM DataStage to Matillion and dbt.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Lead testing efforts for data migration from Oracle and Netezza to Snowflake.
• Validate transformation logic and data consistency post-migration.
• Ensure ETL mappings from IBM DataStage are accurately re-engineered in Matillion and dbt.
• Define and execute comprehensive Test Strategies covering functional, regression, performance, and data validation testing.
• Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers and testers.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in ETL/ELT testing and data migration projects.
• Strong expertise in Oracle, Netezza, Snowflake, and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with IBM DataStage, Matillion, and dbt.
• Proficiency in Jira and Azure DevOps.
• Experience defining and executing Test Strategies and Test Plans.
• Strong understanding of data validation, reconciliation, and automation.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience integrating testing activities into CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred Skills

• Certification in Snowflake, Matillion, or dbt.
• Experience with Python or scripting for test automation.
