Description

Build and maintain ETL applications managing large-scale data movement across platforms.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop ETL applications using Apache Spark, Java, Python, and Pentaho.
• Perform tuning and management of SQL-based databases.
• Document, standardize, and automate deployment processes.
• Debug development, O&M processes, and system issues.
• Support and troubleshoot scalability, high availability, performance, monitoring, and backup/restore.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, specifically in test automation and application deployment/monitoring.
• Extensive experience with ETL processes in Hadoop and various database environments.
• Proficiency in Java and Python.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with RDBMS such as Oracle, MySQL, Redshift, Teradata, or SQL Server.
• Solid understanding of Data Warehousing and Big Data concepts.
• Experience with OpenStack or AWS Cloud services.
• Hands-on experience with Linux systems, preferably Ubuntu.

Preferred Skills

• Experience partnering with Operations teams for production deployments.
