Description

Validate data integrity and ETL pipeline accuracy during a large-scale migration from on-prem SQL Server to Snowflake.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for ETL processes, data extracts, dashboards, and file ingestions.
• Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and defect tracking reports while ensuring compliance with deployment standards.
• Migrate business requirement documents from Excel into Confluence and collaborate with developers and business analysts to review requirements.
• Participate in Agile/Lean SDLC processes, including sprint planning and retrospectives.

Required Skills

• 3–5 years of QA experience focused on ETL and data warehouse testing.
• Advanced SQL skills for data validation, backend testing, and source-to-target mapping.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake and SQL Server.
• Proficiency with testing tools such as Jira, Xray, DevOps, or ALM.
• Experience with SSIS and SSRS.
• Ability to validate BI dashboards in Power BI or Tableau against business logic.
• Familiarity with Python, C#, or .NET.

Preferred Skills

• Healthcare domain expertise, specifically with clinical, claims, member, or provider data.
• Experience with data warehouse migration projects.
