Description

Build and tune electronic trading systems for Corporate Bond markets.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and tune configuration-driven Java applications for high-frequency trading environments.
• Implement and manage messaging protocols using JMS or native implementations.
• Build and maintain low-level networking components using raw TCP/IP and UDP/Multicast.
• Optimize distributed memory fabric and relational database performance.
• Manage post-trade feed flows and settlement calculation logic.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional software development experience.
• Deep Java expertise including writing, tuning, and configuration-driven development.
• Extensive experience with Distributed Memory Fabric and Messaging (JMS or native).
• Hands-on experience with raw TCP/IP and UDP/Multicast, including reliable multicast implementations.
• Strong knowledge of Spring, Gradle, and Docker.
• Proficiency with Relational Databases, specifically Postgres or Oracle.
• Advanced Linux skills including scripting, troubleshooting, and host tuning.
• Domain expertise in Corporate Bond (HY or IG) electronic trading market structures.

Preferred Skills

• Low latency Java techniques such as memory maps, ring buffers, thread pinning, and cache line consistency.
• Experience with C/C++, Rust, or Python.
• Knowledge of Java Unsafe memory access, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and AWS.
