Description

You will support pricing applications within the trading valuation space, managing the ingestion of market pricing data for trade valuation and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Drive project planning and prioritization activities in coordination with the Pricing Product Manager.
• Deliver software solutions within an Agile environment using Kanban, daily scrums, and retrospectives.
• Identify common issues across business groups to design and implement standardized solutions.
• Proactively identify risks, suggest defect fixes, and support the resolution of critical production issues.
• Coordinate with internal delivery teams and external vendors to meet project deliverables and BAU objectives.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in the Energy IT industry with ETRM system configuration.
• Deep knowledge of Energy trading, specifically US Power, Gas, and LNG.
• Experience working with Market Data, including Forward Curves, Settlement Prices, and Expiry dates.
• Strong SQL querying skills and experience with data analysis in Oracle or PostgreSQL RDBMS.
• Advanced Excel skills including formulas and Pivot tables.
• Experience creating BRDs, USDs, mock-up screens, data flow diagrams, and Visio diagrams.
• Proven track record of managing the end-to-end project lifecycle, including requirement analysis, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Working knowledge of cloud computing platforms and microservices/serverless architecture in AWS or Azure.
• Experience with Change Management and Release Management processes.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with ENDUR or Asset Control products.
• Experience with Refinitiv/Reuters market data providers.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Splunk or AppDynamics.
