Description

You will design, develop, and implement electrical platforms and subsystems for electric vehicle applications.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop system and subsystem architectures, including device selection, converter design, and modeling.
• Develop and optimize control algorithms for IM, PMSM, and BLDC motors to maximize battery runtime.
• Perform detailed circuit analysis, stress analysis, simulations, and worst-case circuit analysis.
• Model and design battery systems, including SOC and SOH estimation.
• Execute subsystem and system-level testing to ensure real-time performance.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in automotive, aerospace, defense, or rail electric vehicle sectors.
• Expertise in power electronics converter topologies, including non-isolated/isolated DC/DC converters and DC/AC inverters.
• Experience with power devices such as MOSFETs, IGBTs, and SiC.
• Proficiency in motor control and algorithm development for IM, PMSM, and BLDC motors.
• Hands-on experience with MATLAB, PSPICE, LTspice, and ANSYS.
• Knowledge of EMI/EMC filter design and magnetic design.
• Ability to design and analyze EV systems for optimized size, weight, power, and cost.
• Experience with on-board and off-board charger design and power converters.
• Degree in Power Electronics Engineering or related field.

Preferred Skills

• Practical experience in magnetic design.
