Description

Lead strategy and execution for internal and external events, including conferences, trade shows, and national food and beverage celebrations.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full event lifecycle from kickoff to after-action reviews for internal visits, trainings, and external trade shows.
• Own the trade show calendar and communicate updates to all stakeholders to ensure successful execution.
• Coordinate logistics including technical setup, equipment, and shipping and tracking of product samples to venues.
• Liaise with exhibition houses and manage inventory levels for POS and marketing materials.
• Direct cross-functional teams and manage event budgets to ensure all projects meet financial constraints.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in event or trade show management, ideally within a B2B environment.
• Knowledge of VBA and Trade Shows.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills for managing electronic and manual filing.
• Proven project management and leadership capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities under pressure and tight time constraints.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with customers and suppliers.
• Ability to travel via air and drive as required.
• Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and travel away from home for several days during events.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the food and beverage industry.
