Description

Manage Exadata engineered systems and relational database management systems in an onsite capacity.

Responsibilities

• Install, upgrade, and patch Exadata software and layered products.
• Monitor system performance and resolve software vulnerabilities or infrastructure issues.
• Manage Exadata capacity, performance, and server health via ILOML.
• Perform database tuning, including indexing, partitioning, and memory management.
• Execute database migrations and participate in on-call escalation cycles.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in Oracle Database Administration.
• Hands-on expertise with Exadata DMA and RAC (Real Application Cluster).
• Strong knowledge of Clusterware software and database management.
• Experience with Data Guard, GRID, and Exadata storage software.
• Proficiency in Linux or Solaris operating systems.
• Ability to write Unix scripts for system automation.
• Experience using Oracle Enterprise Manager for component monitoring.
• Working knowledge of Exadata IB switches and networking concepts.
• Proven experience with database performance tuning and migration.
