Description

Manage the implementation, maintenance, and support of Exadata engineered systems and relational database management systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install, upgrade, and patch Exadata software, RAC databases, and infrastructure components.
• Troubleshoot software vulnerabilities, infrastructure issues, and hardware component replacements.
• Perform database performance tuning including indexing, optimizer strategies, partitioning, and memory management.
• Manage Exadata capacity, performance, and server health via ILOMs.
• Execute database migrations, Rubrik backup/restore testing, DR testing, and cyber testing.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Oracle Database Administration and Exadata DMA.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle RAC (Real Application Cluster).
• Proficiency with RDBMS and Linux or Solaris operating systems.
• Working knowledge of Exadata storage software, servers, and IB switches.
• Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager, Data Guard, and GRID.
• Strong Unix scripting skills for operating system management.
• Expertise in managing clusterware software and databases.
• Proven ability in database performance tuning and migration.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to participate in on-call rotations and escalation processes.
