Description

You will manage and maintain Oracle Exadata Database Machines, handling storage cells, compute nodes, and Infiniband switches.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage Exadata infrastructure through patching, upgrades, and configuration changes.
• Optimize Oracle databases using Smart Scan, Smart Flash Cache, and Hybrid Columnar Compression.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting and act as the escalation point for complex database and infrastructure incidents.
• Support database operations including backup, recovery, high availability, and disaster recovery.
• Automate regular tasks using scripting and tools.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in database and infrastructure management.
• Deep understanding of Oracle Exadata architecture and components.
• In-depth knowledge of Oracle 12c/19c, RAC, ASM, and Data Guard.
• Proficiency in Bash, Python, or Ansible for automation.
• Experience with Infiniband networking and storage cell management.
• Ability to analyze SQL queries and troubleshoot memory or CPU bottlenecks.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) certification.
• Oracle Exadata Certified Specialist certification.
