Job Title: Sr. Infrastructure Engineer

Location: Pune (Hybrid)

Job Type: Contract

Experience: 8+ Years

Qualifications

·       Strong hands‑on experience with Cisco, VMware vSphere (ESXi, vCenter) and at least one of Proxmox VE or OpenStack.

·       Solid administration experience in Linux (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu) and Windows Server (installation, configuration, hardening, troubleshooting).

·       Working knowledge of Azure and AWS (VMs/EC2, VPC/VNet, security groups/NSG, IAM, storage, load balancers); familiarity with GCP/GKE is highly desirable.

·       Experience deploying and operating Kubernetes clusters on-prem and in the cloud (AKS/EKS/GKE), including basic observability and backup concepts.

·       Good understanding of networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, DNS, VPN, load balancing, and firewall concepts.

·       Practical experience with Cisco networking and enterprise firewalls (e.g., Cisco ASA/FTD or equivalent).

·       Understanding of storage fundamentals (SAN, NAS, iSCSI, NFS, RAID levels, snapshots, replication).

·       Ability to create clear, accurate, and supportable network and infrastructure diagrams and documentation.

·       Familiarity with ITIL processes and hands‑on use of ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms; prior CAB participation is an advantage.
