Description

You will enhance cross-border transaction monitoring capabilities for banking clients. You own data strategies, build data flows, and develop conceptual data models alongside data stewards.

Responsibilities

• Implement data strategies and build data flows within a Programme Test Team.
• Optimize logical and physical data models to support new and existing projects.
• Perform reverse engineering of physical data models from databases and scripts.
• Translate business requirements into technical designs and long-term IT solutions.
• Analyze data-related system integration challenges and propose technical solutions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data development and analytical activities.
• Mandatory experience in the financial sector, specifically payment, financial crime, or AML transaction monitoring systems.
• Proficiency in at least two of: Python, SQL, DAX, Excel/VBA, R, Scala, C#, or Tableau.
• Hands-on data modelling experience using Power Designer, CA ERwin, IBM InfoSphere Data Architect, Python, or SQL.
• Mandatory experience with Quantexa.
• Deep understanding of financial payment flows and transactional data in a banking environment.
• Ability to build entity resolution solutions and analyze risk and compliance cases.
• Experience capturing and documenting business requirements for IT design.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of payment systems technical architecture and correspondent banking projects.
• Experience with network analysis tools and structured vs. unstructured customer transactional data.
