Description

You will lead the design, development, and production of software-intensive systems and data processing platforms. You own the software development lifecycle from initial technical analysis through to production and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage development activities using appropriate methods, tools, and security standards.
• Coach individual developers through technical guidance and knowledge transfer.
• Collaborate with Business and Functional Analysts to build applications based on business requirements.
• Address application incidents and implement technical improvements for infrastructure changes.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Java software development and ecosystem.
• Expertise in the Spring.io framework for backend services.
• Proficiency with Microservices, REST, JSON, SOAP, WSDL, XML, and XSD.
• Strong understanding of application security and network protocols.
• Experience with data management using SQL, NoSQL, Graph, or Elastic (ELK).
• Competency in web technologies including HTML, CSS, TypeScript, and AJAX.
• Hands-on experience with Git, GitLab CI/CD, Maven, Gradle, Docker, and OpenShift.
• Knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux and VMware.
• Experience working within Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, or Lean.
• Belgian nationality and ability to obtain a "Very Secret" security clearance.
• Fluency in French or Dutch, with basic knowledge of the other and English.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with complex data processing platforms.
• Background in technical analysis for large-scale systems.
