Description

You will lead large project teams through complex software development lifecycles, owning execution, control, budgets, schedules, scope, and quality.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage project execution and control, including budgets, schedules, scope, and quality standards.
• Develop and manage comprehensive communications plans for project stakeholders.
• Track, manage, and communicate project issues and risks proactively.
• Manage project schedules and resources using Microsoft Project.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate status updates.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of extensive industry experience providing guidance to large teams.
• 7+ years of experience managing project execution and control.
• 5+ years experience in a lead project manager role on software development projects.
• 5+ years experience developing and managing communications plans.
• 5+ years experience in tracking, managing and communicating issues and risks.
• 4+ years experience managing project schedules and resources using Microsoft Project.
• 2+ years of Project Management experience managing stakeholder expectations.
• 2+ years of experience in managing public sector government IT projects.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification from PMI.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
