Description

Lead the technical transition of MS Office automation tools from version 2013 to Microsoft 365.

Responsibilities

• Lead the seamless migration of VBA code modules from MS 2013 to 365 while ensuring zero business disruption.
• Execute side-by-side testing and validation to guarantee functionality parity between environments.
• Analyze and optimize the storage of VBA-generated data, specifically evaluating XML blob storage versus JSON formats for database efficiency.
• Programmatically transform and store Excel files as PDFs while preserving data integrity, accuracy, and formatting.
• Troubleshoot and optimize existing code modules specifically for the MS 365 environment.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in software development.
• Expert-level proficiency in VBA and C#.
• Advanced Excel automation and complex formula development.
• Experience working with XML and JSON data formats.
• Experience managing data storage within databases, specifically XML blobs.
• Proficiency using JIRA and Confluence for agile development and collaboration.
• Experience with OCR tools.
• Ability to perform independent, expert-level technical work.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Microsoft 365 specific APIs or integration points.
