Description

Lead the technical migration of MS Office automation tools from version 2013 to Microsoft 365, ensuring zero business disruption.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Migrate VBA code modules from MS 2013 to 365 while maintaining functionality parity.
• Execute side-by-side testing and validation to guarantee seamless transition.
• Analyze and optimize VBA-generated data storage, evaluating XML blob versus JSON formats.
• Programmatically transform and store Excel files as PDFs with preserved formatting and integrity.
• Troubleshoot and optimize existing code modules for the MS 365 environment.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Expert-level proficiency in VBA and C#.
• Advanced Excel automation and complex formula development.
• Experience with XML and JSON data formats.
• Experience managing data storage within databases, specifically XML blobs.
• Proficiency using JIRA and Confluence for agile development.
• Experience with OCR tools.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Microsoft 365 specific APIs or integration points.
