Description

You will design, implement, and optimize F5 solutions across enterprise environments.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Architect and design enterprise-grade F5 solutions ensuring security, scalability, and redundancy.
• Configure, deploy, and maintain F5 BIG-IP LTM, GTM (DNS), ASM, APM, AFM, and iRules for application delivery.
• Migrate applications from legacy load balancers such as Citrix NetScaler or Cisco ACE to F5 solutions.
• Develop iRules and automation scripts to optimize performance and security.
• Troubleshoot network, application, and security issues using packet capture analysis with tools like Wireshark.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as an F5 Engineer with a focus on architecture and design.
• Hands-on experience with F5 BIG-IP LTM, GTM, APM, ASM, AFM, and iRules scripting.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols including TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, SSL/TLS, DNS, BGP, and OSPF.
• Experience with cloud-based F5 implementations (AWS, Azure, OCI).
• Familiarity with automation tools such as Python, Ansible, Terraform, or AppViewX.
• Experience designing high-availability and disaster recovery solutions.
• Understanding of Zero Trust, SASE, and WAF security models.

Preferred Skills

• F5 Architect experience.
