Description

You will administer, govern, and optimize the Microsoft Fabric platform, ensuring scalable, secure, and well-governed data architecture.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Administer Microsoft Fabric workspaces, tenant settings, capacities, and core services via the Fabric Admin Portal and Azure Portal.
• Design and enforce reference architecture patterns, optimizing F SKU capacity settings for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Manage OneLake architecture, including shortcuts, cloud connections, on-premises gateways, and shared data access patterns.
• Own CI/CD deployment processes for Fabric and Power BI assets using GitHub Enterprise, enforcing deployment standards.
• Implement security controls using Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, and Azure Key Vault for secrets management.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of Azure data and Microsoft Fabric platform experience.
• Strong data engineering background with hands-on ETL processes and data pipeline experience.
• Proficiency in scripting for automation and governance: PowerShell, Azure CLI, and Microsoft Fabric APIs.
• Experience with Power Automate for operational and remediation automation.
• Ability to monitor platform health, including capacity utilization, refresh activity, and telemetry.
• Troubleshoot and remediate platform issues across Fabric and Power BI environments.
• Experience managing on-premises environments and gateways.

Preferred Skills

• Microsoft Fabric or Azure data certifications.
• Experience with virtual network configurations for data access.
