Description

You will lead the design, implementation, and governance of data solutions within Microsoft Fabric.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy data pipelines in Microsoft Fabric using OneLake, Data Factory, and Apache Spark.
• Architect and implement ETL workflows optimized for Fabric's unified data platform.
• Lead and mentor the engineering team, overseeing workspace design and code reviews.
• Monitor and optimize Fabric pipelines for high availability and fast query performance.
• Implement governance and compliance frameworks, ensuring data lineage and security across the platform.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in data engineering with a focus on Microsoft Fabric.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, Scala, and R.
• Experience with data pipeline development and ETL processes.
• Strong understanding of data governance and security practices.
• Ability to lead and mentor a team effectively.
• Experience with data integration solutions unifying structured and unstructured sources.
• Familiarity with integrating Fabric with Synapse Data Warehousing.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Azure DevOps and Airflow.
• Knowledge of real-time analytics and data activator features.
