You will manage the design process for our ready-to-wear line from initial conception through to final styling.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full design lifecycle from concept to final styling.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, fabrics, and techniques.
- Collaborate with team members to select seasonal themes, edit lines, and develop new concepts.
- Select appropriate fabrics and trims for seasonal collections.
- Ensure all product designs align with established business strategies.
Required Skills
- Designing expertise.
- Ability to sketch designs by hand.
- Experience creating technical production drawings.
- Skill in interpreting color palettes, patterns, and prints based on trend research.
- Ability to conduct market research via street trends, fashion shows, and industry publications.
- Business acumen to apply product strategy to creative designs.
- Experience addressing buyers and applying marketing principles to product development.
