Description

Manage governance and execution of business continuity and disaster recovery management (BCDRM) for the NC FAST portfolio, supporting a large-scale application system migrating to AWS cloud.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain enterprise-wide business continuity and disaster recovery strategies.
• Conduct risk assessments, business impact analyses, and technical requirements gathering to identify RTO and RPO.
• Coordinate IT service restoration as the IT disaster event coordinator during disaster scenarios.
• Plan, conduct, and debrief regular mock-disaster exercises to test plan adequacy and update procedures.
• Ensure IT infrastructure disaster recovery plans support respective application and business recovery plans.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience developing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise-wide disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
• 7+ years of experience in DR planning techniques, technologies, and performing risk and business impact analysis.
• 7+ years of experience developing training for subject matter experts on DR tools, templates, and methodologies.
• 7+ years of experience with IT infrastructure and emerging technologies.
• 7+ years of experience managing schedules, documentation, communications, and deadlines.
• 6+ years of experience in planning strategy and tactics.
• Knowledge of AWS cloud environments.
• Ability to analyze problems and determine root cause.
