Description

Manage business continuity and disaster recovery governance for the NC FAST portfolio, supporting a large-scale application migration to AWS.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain enterprise-wide business continuity and disaster recovery strategies.
• Conduct risk assessments and business impact analyses to define RTO and RPO.
• Coordinate IT service restoration as the primary disaster event coordinator.
• Plan and execute mock-disaster exercises to validate plans and update procedures.

Required Skills

• 5+ years developing and maintaining enterprise-wide disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
• 7+ years in DR planning techniques, technologies, risk analysis, and business impact analysis.
• 7+ years developing training for subject matter experts on DR tools, templates, and methodologies.
• 7+ years experience with IT infrastructure and emerging technologies.
• 7+ years managing schedules, documentation, communications, and deadlines.
• 6+ years in planning strategy and tactics.
• Knowledge of AWS cloud environments.
• Ability to analyze problems and determine root cause.
