Description

You will own structural FEA simulations and analyses using ANSYS Mechanical, ensuring model accuracy and convergence for complex designs.

Responsibilities

• Execute structural FEA simulations and analyses using ANSYS Mechanical.
• Debug ANSYS Mechanical models for convergence issues in nonlinear contact simulations.
• Review simulations from other team members and recommend technical improvements.
• Collaborate with the design team to suggest modifications based on analysis results.
• Perform hand calculations to validate FEA results and prepare reports per DNV/EN standards.

Required Skills

• 3-6 years of experience in structural FEA.
• Proficiency with ANSYS Workbench Structural Analysis.
• Strong foundation in strength of materials and hand calculations.
• Experience analyzing bolted, welded, and casted components.
• Ability to work independently on complex simulation tasks.
• B.Tech or M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of vibration analysis.
