Description

You will perform engineering simulations to support the design, test, and structural development of components and systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Run multiple simulation projects to meet program timelines while following project guidelines.
• Develop new processes, procedures, and calculation methods, including substitute load cases or replacement models.
• Correlate experimental data to simulation data and perform root-cause analysis for issues identified during testing.
• Analyze FEA results to determine the feasibility of proposed product changes and initiate component optimization.
• Write technical reports explaining FE results and providing design improvement recommendations.

Required Skills

• 3-5 years of related experience in FEA engineering.
• Proficiency with Ansa and Hypermesh.
• Experience with Nastran solver.
• Experience with Abaqus solver.
• Experience with Optistruct solver.
• Experience with Heeds.
• Experience with LS Dyna.
• Experience with nCode.
• Experience with FEMFAT and optimization tools.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
