Role Description

Manage and support cloud-based and enterprise platforms within highly regulated environments, focusing on reliability, security, and compliance. Apply DevOps practices including CI/CD, infrastructure automation, and monitoring, with hands-on troubleshooting, incident response, and system optimization to ensure high availability and performance.

Collaborate across development, security, and operations teams to streamline software delivery while adhering to federal governance standards. Drive continuous improvement through automation and data-driven insights.

Core Responsibilities

Design, develop, and support event-driven automation using the FedOps framework across ServiceNow, Polycloud, and enterprise platforms.

Build, maintain, and optimize automation workflows using Ansible Automation Platform (AAP).

Develop reusable, scalable playbooks for alert remediation, self-healing, and operational workflows.

Integrate automation solutions with enterprise systems, ServiceNow, APIs, and infrastructure platforms.

Support application/use-case onboarding into FedOps and ensure alignment with enterprise standards.

Troubleshoot and resolve automation failures to ensure reliability and operational resiliency.

Required Skills

Strong hands-on expertise in Ansible Automation Platform (AAP):

Playbook development and optimization

Job templates and workflow templates

RBAC and secure execution models

Integration with external systems such as ServiceNow and APIs

Python, PowerShell, or shell scripting.

Event-driven automation and operational tooling.

Infrastructure, application workflows, and incident management processes.

CI/CD, infrastructure automation, and monitoring.

Strong problem-solving and operational mindset.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

HP Operations Orchestration (HPOO)

HP Server Automation (HPSA)

Migration/modernization from legacy platforms to AAP or other modern orchestration tools.

Enterprise automation ecosystems such as SSP, AutoSys, and ServiceNow integrations.
