Description

You will design and implement FHIR-based solutions to expose patient clinical and claims data through APIs.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design solutions to ingest data from internal and external systems into a FHIR repository.
• Define optimal architecture for FHIR data infrastructure in collaboration with clients.
• Lead the development and deployment of FHIR APIs using Azure services.
• Integrate EMR systems with Azure services through cross-functional collaboration.
• Monitor CMS mandates and FHIR domain advancements to provide effective architectural solutions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in healthcare application architecture.
• Expertise in FHIR, HL7, and CCDA standards for healthcare data interoperability.
• Deep understanding of FHIR resources, profiles, and implementation guides.
• Proficiency in .NET, C#, Node.js, and Python.
• Hands-on experience with Azure FHIR APIs, Azure Functions, and Azure Logic Apps.
• Experience with Azure API Management (APIM), Azure Storage, and Azure Data Factory.
• Knowledge of Azure Key Vault, networking concepts, and network security groups.
• Familiarity with Azure IAM, Azure Active Directory (AAD), and Azure AD Connect.
• Experience with healthcare data exchange protocols and data mapping.

Preferred Skills

• HL7 (Health Level Seven) certification.
