Description

You will develop and manage business rules using the FICO Blaze Advisor suite. You own the full lifecycle of rule development, from creation to deployment and administration.

Responsibilities

• Create and update rule flows, writing rules and functions in Structured Rules Language (SRL).
• Develop rules using templates and providers, validating them against object and data models.
• Perform impact analysis and optimization to identify ambiguity, repetition, or technical conflicts.
• Implement logic to expose and integrate rules with other systems and users.
• Execute detailed testing, debugging, and performance monitoring to isolate improvement areas.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in business rules development.
• Proficiency in FICO Blaze Advisor 7.* versions.
• Hands-on experience with FICO DMP (Decision Modeler), including solution editor, components, and orchestration.
• Strong knowledge of Blaze Advisor API and Structured Rules Language (SRL).
• Java development experience, including SOAP/REST Web Services and Web/Application servers.
• Experience with Groovy scripting and troubleshooting techniques.
• SQL proficiency.
• Ability to create and manage test cases to validate rule logic.

Preferred Skills

• Experience collaborating across technical teams including Database, QA, and Application Development.
