Description

You will own the technical documentation and field verification for onshore oil and gas facilities.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Conduct plant walk-downs to verify P&ID and PFD accuracy against as-is conditions.
• Create red/blue line mark-ups and sketch drawings from scratch when client documentation is unavailable.
• Incorporate red-line mark-ups into AutoCAD to produce precise as-built drawings.
• Collect critical equipment details from nameplates and gather missing information for pipelines and facilities.
• Plan weekly field activities, prepare QA/QC checklists, and coordinate with the engineering office.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in field engineering or technical documentation.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD for drafting and design.
• In-depth ability to read, interpret, modify, and create P&ID, PFD, Isometric, Plant Layout, Plot Plan, and Equipment General Arrangement drawings.
• Strong knowledge of design and drafting techniques and engineering drawings.
• Experience with MS Outlook, MS Teams, and MS Office tools.
• Valid driving license with ability to drive pick-up trucks or SUVs in difficult terrain and remote locations.
• Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage weekly field activity planning and reporting.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in upstream oil and gas fields, onshore wellpads, facilities, or refineries.
